Working with the charity LimbPower I produced a series of fun and child friendly Top Tip sheets, using knowledge gained from several workshops attended by children and families of children who need a prosthesis. A total of 8 different areas are covered in the series, allowing both children and parents to learn new ways of coping with the emotional as well as physical side effects of needing a prosthetic.
The Tip Sheets were arranged as A4 sheets that can be easily printed from the LimbPower website, this way they’re accessible to anyone who needs them. The holiday backpack illustration below shows how useful these can be for parents as well as children.
